Better late than never! Sorry that this didn’t make it out last night.
We tend to make slightly more elaborate meals on Sundays.
I usually have the foresight to pick out two dishes and plan the grocery list before heading out to yoga, and I pick up the ingredients whilst sipping coffee on my way home.
Yesterday was a bit wild, however. No time for ingredients before yoga—and when I got home, Ryan answered my question as to whether he’d thought about meals by declaring that he’d take care of everything.
With work to finish, a home to clean, and a childhood friend to meet for drinks, I knew not to argue.
(In general, when one is offered the opportunity not to plan, shop, prep, cook, pack, or clean—just to eat and enjoy—one shouldn’t argue.)
So thanks for cooking, Ryan! And planning, shopping, prepping, packing, and cleaning.
