We’ve had a restful weekend after this horrific week. (In addition to bombings, unintentional explosions, and a major world city sheltering in place, China is now criticising the US for our human rights abuses! New nadir.)
So there was lots of yoga, lots of cooking, some chores, and some hiking. I was supposed to do some adventuring in town with friends, but o hey an evil human being was holding the town hostage and I wasn’t exactly allowed into Cambridge in my car in time.
What this has to do with lunch I’m not sure, but nevertheless, the house smells awesome right now, and everything’s looking a little brighter.
I hope—I pray—that things are looking similarly up from where you’re siting.
- First lunch: Garden steak sandwiches, somewhat modified from The Conscious Cook, to be served with horseradish mayo on a ciabatta roll
- Second lunch: A very spicy Indian mango curry, over coconut rice
